14th Tank Platoon

All I know is that Melo loves NYC. I know his wife is adamant about staying in NYC. When has a top player left a big market?

Howard is the only one I know of, but he is a giant weenie.

Plus i was hearing on the radio that he would leave behind 30 million dollars if he goes elsewhere. Thats alot of cheddar

Melo is going to stay in NYC.

Rose is done being an All-Star.

We'll find out about that! Soon...

Idk what Chicago's cap situation is, but I think Melo could take them to the next level, assuming Rose can make a good comeback.

The problem with this Bulls team has always been their lack of a legit 2nd option. They had Rose and a great group of role players. Rose/Melo would be a serious 1-2 punch.

He would make sense in a certain way. They've been a top3 defensive team with Boozer, so why not with Melo as well? And he'd spread their floor like *insert random offensive joke here*

Just because he's got no BB IQ doesn't mean someone in their family can't say the right thing towards journalists to get them off their *** for a little while.

Fact is:
- If he opts out, then he's professional about his earnings and probably should have plans for when he's done playing.

- If he stays another year he joins a more attractive group of free agents with more teams clearing cap space. That would be a pro-passionate basketball decision that indicates he cares more about winning.

For that particular Chicago case that would mean:
Chicago's cap hold is $50M, with the salary cap being estimated around $62M that year. Not that much to offer. But I guess New York should agree to a S&T in case they're getting a low first rounder for their troubles. That would convince Melo of Rose being healthy, and it left him also options to see what plan the Knicks got for him in place and what plan the other suitors could offer.

Super similar to Kobe: He stays put -> wants to see where he can win
He extends ASAP: He wants cash, doesn't care about winning

And I want applause for my formatting Cyrone. Extra for you, so you can read it.

Memphis won too!

The pelicans are leading!

So far a pretty good night for the tank.
