You can pooh pooh it all you want but the fact remains that there is nowhere near the certainty surrounding him as there was other top flight players who were, outside injury, guaranteed to be All Stars.
I'm not saying you don't take him #1 or anything, just that there's something he's currently missing that a bonafide #1- without-a-doubt draft pick would have. He doesn't take over games for starters, doesn't finish through contact, and has suspect handles. He's nowhere near as polished as Marvin Williams was at 19, his shot isn't nearly as good... That 2005 draft was so much stronger and they were still considering Marvin at #1. This one has a variety of questions hanging over every player's head and Wiggins still is not the consensus #1.
Maybe he is a better athlete than Lebron as you say, but I still have my reservations about what the guy will become.
