What's new

Utah Jazz at Denver Nuggets

Enes has averaged 17 pts + 15 rebs in his last 3 games.
Favors has averaged 18/8 in the same 3 games.
Not bad.

Burke averaging around 9 assists the last 5 games. Makes sense.

Burks and Hayward are doing good I'm pretty sure too.

There was a little stretch there where Favs and Enes were both bullying. It was fun to watch. You could see the Jazz potentially becoming a good, physical team. Fleeting moments. Fleeting.

I went to the store to buy ice cream and on my return was happy to see that Foye helped us out. I really wish Burke hadn't made that shot against Orlando. But if we have the 4th worst record there's a chance we could get into the top-3 = one of the all-stars (as long as Jabari enters the draft).

At any rate, we're going to draft somebody decent.

Nothing we can do about it now, lets just hope for the future! Said it good there.

This has been one of my greatest disappointments in the past few years.

Sometimes, we actually feed the beasts down low. But most of the time we ignore them in favor of chucking. Or kanter does something stupid and is benched. Or Favors gets blocked and then decides to fade away.

I remember a time when Malone was fed time after time after time. Didn't matter whether he was a lil off. We kept feeding him. Same with shaq. Same with Duncan. The Spurs, as good as their wings are, still feed Duncan. Especially when Duncan is beasting against a team like the Miami Heat.

We don't do this. We don't have the structure or discipline to keep pounding the ball down low. Ty Corbin teams seem to operate from the outside in rather than the inside out.

When we feed the beasts, good things happen. They either score, draw fouls, or create opportunities for others. Far more effective than using Hayward like Lebron. Or turning Trey into a 6 foot SG.

Yep. Had me VERY worried. Just imagine if those two can get some back ups next season (an improved Gobert and a physical PF).

yet they dont translate in wins.

hmm i bet you popovich with a full training camp would lead this team to a 3-4th seed.
horny would lead them to a 4-7th seed.

WE NEED A quality COACH

Was basically nothing and probly happens 100 times a season, but Trey was just aguing with JLIII who looked like he was trying to teach him something, and Trey looked super pissed.

I thought I saw Hayward getting mad at Trey in the game yesterday. Losing probably is a strain on everyone but that's not the explanation here. I think we can irrationally conclude that Trey Burke is the worst locker room guy since Mark Jackson, he is dividing the team and his mom put him up to it.

i remmebr corbin feeding the beats al jefferson down low.

dint work so great.

cus there needs to be a complicated system behind feeding the beast(s)

Hilarious to think a Prima Donna vet is pissed off and showing his frustration at a rookie. Did he end up chucking the ball at Trey on a fast break? Damn rookies. Should never ever ever make mistakes....

Apparently Hayward has a really bad memory......
Even worse is his attempt to be a leader. 4th or 5th option or 6th man he is. Franchise player he is not.

We didn't feed the ball down low. Jefferson would often get the ball just a few feet inside the 3pt line and would either stand around faking, or dribble the shot clock away inside to chuck up his weezy or chuck up a baseline jumper. Hence, his lack of FT attempts. It was a lazy *** offense just like we have a lazy *** offense of Hayward chucking.

The mere fact that we chuck so many 3s should tell you everything you need to know about our offense.

I would be too. I wouldn't want someone that's worse than me at something trying to teach me how to do it

Yet, the coaching ranks are full of average to below average players. Physical talent and an understanding of the game are not necessarily the same thing, as should be obvious.
