tl;dr

Good decision, imo. Bad for Tyler Ulis and Devin Booker, no?

Ullis is most definitely a multi-year player, so it shouldn't impact him much. Devin Booker will probably play 2 years as well, though PKM can correct me because I don't know much about him. I can't imagine that if Booker is good that he can't beat out one of the Harrison's though.

I agree, just saying I think those guys came there thinking they will play right away. I could be wrong though as well.

After intending to declare for the NBA, French center Mouhammadou Jaiteh won’t formally enter his name in the June Draft, a source told RealGM.

I wonder what goes on with 18 Year old French Prospect Damien Ingles, I'd take a look at him as a draft and stash in the 2nd

this kid is a specimen, at 6'8½" in shoes, 240lbs with a 7'3" wingspan, defends multiple positions, can dribble and pass a bit, shooting is a work in progress but in limited attempts this year hit 38.7% from 3 and 72.4% from the FT line

If you think your top 3 pick can be a superstar you don't give him backup minutes, you give him starter minutes.

P.S. you think Parker will play the 4? Some sort of "stretch" 4 thing?

Everyone which includes himself thinks he's a stretch 4. He's shown the ability to slide with all the SFs in the college landscape.... NOT

Plenty of backcourt minutes. Devin Booker and Aaron are the only true wings remaining. Andrew will see some off ball time with Tyler Ulis together and Poythress will probably slide down to SF in a lot of games even though he disappears against wing defenders normally.

I would love to sign deng.

draft Jabari

resign Hayward to about 10 mil per

gives us 1 more year to see how burks and kanter fit

Burke, Neto, fredette
Hayward, burks
deng, Parker
kanter, Evans
favors, Gobert

Jabari getting all the back up minutes at the 3 and the 4.

Stopped readng at Fredette.

The 7

1) Exum I have not seen enough of him, but I always hear if he played in the NCAA he would be #1. If that's true then you take him # 1

2) Embiid *Back

3) Wiggins It would be tough to not take parker but wiggins potential on both ends is too high.

4) Parker A #2 option on a ship caliber team. Number one on a good one.

5) Gordon Hops and D. His shot is fixable. He will improve.

6) Randle Hungry would be higher but he is the worst type of tweener

7) Vonleh just an asset to be traded

Smart couldn't fix his shot in 4 years. The last thing we need is a poor shooting combo guard.

If we fall to 6-7 and keep the pick then we couldn't get enough for it but I imagine that that players stay in Utah wouldn't be much more than 1 year.

@SpearsNBAYahoo

Clemson junior small forward K.J. McDaniels plans to announce this week that he is entering the NBA Draft, a source told Yahoo Sports.

Fran Fraschillo (sp?) raves on and on about Exum. He was saying his top two prospects are Embiid (if his back pans out) and Exum. He believes those are the only two with "superstar" potential. He said Parker and Wiggins could be very, very good, but not on LeBron or Durrant's level. But Embiid and Exum could be.

Interesting.

Has Franscilla ever been right on a NBA prospect? I get that he scouts international guys and maybe Exum is the real deal. But the Franscilla stamp of approval is the kiss of death.

Embiid is slept on around here, The Jazz will not be in range to draft a 7'er with that kind of coordination/agility for probably 10-20 years
