Following potential 2014 draftees

Not even Embiid could stop Smart.

Inglis at 35 (that's our pick, right?) is what I'm hoping for as well. To put it simply, he just moves really well and looks like a basketball player at 18. Combine that with his physical tools and that's exactly what i want in a second round pick.

yeah 35, though it could be 34 if the Celtics pass us in the lottery.

at this point I prefer Inglis over Glenn Robinson III, especially for the Jazz.

in DX's report today Givony wrote "It's safe to say he has plenty of room to grow still, and looks like someone who will reach his potential based on what we know about his character and work ethic. Inglis left his home country of French Guiana (a small country just north of Brazil) when he was only 13 years old, and is clearly very mature for his age."

thats encouraging, i've been reading euro scouting reports/articles on him and haven't come across any info of that sort.

The thing that is really intriguing about him is that at 6'6" he can play the PG position as well. With Burke and perhaps Neto it would be nice to have a little more size at the PG position to come off the bench. His brother Bojan (just kidding) is a pretty good player as well. Rights owned by Nets. Can score, but 3pt shooting not to great this year.

Bogdan did show he can play PG but i am skeptical he is more than a drive and kick guy in the NBA hes wreckless at PG overall, if the Jazz are looking for a 6'6" SG with some combo ability in the 2nd round their best bet is Spencer Dinwiddie

Big Board as of now:

1. Wiggins
2. Parker
3. Embiid
4. Exum
5. Randle
6. Smart
7a. Gordon
7b. Vonleh

Doesn't really matter after #7.

Bogdan Bogdanovic and Bojan Bogdanovic on the same team would be hilariously confusing for the announcers... get it done D Linds

so we all agree that Randle > Vonleh offensively? Is this true to college, and will that transfer? Also, is Vonleh's main knock that he wasn't able to take over games a la Randle?

Where was Kanter at Vonleh's age? Does Vonleh have potential to improve?

PKM has been pretty spot on when predicting the stats of top recruits, and he once said that Kanter would have averaged 18/15 had the NCAA let him play. Maybe the rebounding numbers are bit of a hyperbole, but I think Kanter at 18 would have been really dominant in college, even as a freshman. Vonleh...wasn't.

Bottom line, if Kanter and Vonleh had been in the same draft, there's NO WAY I would take Vonleh, if given the choice. But that's me.

My concerns with Vonleh:

-Lack of fire and assertiveness.
-Not terribly explosive.
-He has a base to build off of in the post, with his handles, and his jumper...but he's not yet advanced in any one of these categories.
-Feel for the game (he ranks DEAD LAST in the entire draft class in both assist to turnover ratio and assists per possession rate). And if you watch his scouting report, he just looks plain lost sometimes.
