Teams are allowed 18 interviews at the combine (maximum of 30 minutes) with no Embiid, Wiggins and Jabari id really like to find out what that list looks like
IMO, they should expand the # of interviews if a team has extra picks.Teams are allowed 18 interviews at the combine (maximum of 30 minutes) with no Embiid, Wiggins and Jabari id really like to find out what that list looks like
Why should they go? I do not see any positives coming out of it. They are all listed as a potential #1 pick. Only thing the combine can do is potentially hurt their stock.
Maybe given that they can get away with it, I'm just saying I don't like it. Just like I don't like Johnny Maziel having to have his own special throwing day with perfect conditions. And plus, it's extremely unlikely any of these guys will have anything pop in in what they are looking at at the combine that will move them negative spots. It's not for them anyway, it's so the teams that will be eventually paying them millions have as much information as possible to make their decisions with.

But it's really not that big a deal. With three of the top 35 picks, the Jazz will have most of the prospects in for private workouts. It might be wise to target the international players for interviews since many would be less likely (or able) to do individual workouts between the combine and draft.
I love the combine. The measurements are awesome when they measure some dudes and they are three of four inches shorter than listed. I wish they would show the measurements and see how some guys grow three inches by just putting on their shoes. I think the combine is going to be on ESPN2 and ESPNU. I'm really excited to see how Julius Randal and Aaron Gordon measure out. If Julius Randal isn't a legitimate 6'9", we should pass on him.
Im very interested in what happens with these reported monster vertical jump #'s
Zach LaVine and Nick Johnson reportedly have 47" verticals which would break the DJ Stephens record
Thanasis Antetokoumpo, 44"
Markel Brown, 43"
Aaron Gordon, 43"
James Young, 42"
Jahii Carson, 42"
Jerami Grant, 40"
Deonte Burton, 40"
Players like Cleanthony Early, Semaj Christon, Adriean Payne, Kendall Williams, KJ McDaniels, Glenn Robinson III, and Nik Stauskas are expected to jump close to 40" and im sure im missing a few
If KJ isn't well over 40" I will be shocked.
ESPNU and ESPN2 will televise 10 hours of live NBA Draft Combine coverage on Thursday, May 15, and Friday, May 16
