#1 Pick to Utah?

The rumor from the article doesn't include Burks in the trade. As stated in the quote, Orlando's offer is the best of the three.

The original offer was Favors, the #5 and the #23. Reading between the lines, the counter from Cleveland was the #5, Favors and next year's unprotected pick. Because then the quote has Utah offering Burks but NOT an unprotected pick. I just don't see Cleveland valuing Afflalo over Favors, not when the 5 is such a position of need for them and they already have a reliable SG. I know Waiters and Irving clashed during the season, but if that's the case, then opt for the #5, Favors and Burks and get rid of him.

I don't understand how Orlando's offer of Afflalo, #4, and #12 is better than Favors, #5, and Burks.

That's the point I've tried to make in a couple of threads. However, if Cleveland really doesn't think they have a legit shot at LBJ, it changes the dynamics of the picks.

Here's the only way I think it's better:
Afflalo is making $7.5M, Favors will be paid $12M.
Cleveland takes a chance on Embiid at #4 and then drafts a SF at #12.
They have both those players on rookie contracts vs Burks who comes off his rookie deal in another year.

I suppose. But I really don't think they'll get a better player at #12 and I don't think they want Waiters anymore (I certainly wouldn't, I have no idea why they drafted him to start with).

Core4, pls stahp. Your friends and family are worried about you.

Says the man with nearly 40K posts.

Jazz offer is #5, Favors, #23

Cleveland asked for #5, Favors, a future unprotected 1st.

Jazz also willing to send Alec Burks instead of the draft pick, but the FO is not united on including Alec.
I'm just saying NOWHERE in the post mellow quoted does it say the offer was ever Favors, the #5, the #23 AND Burks.
Cleveland wanted Favors, the #5 and an unprotected first (Instead of the 23rd).
Jazz apparently willing (but split) on offering Favors, the #5 and Burks.

Was specifically tom bout Core4 policing all the trade threads to set the record straight that we are NOT including Burks!! It's a choice!!

Pass on this tub of guts!

"He was bad," one source told ESPN.com. "He was huffing and puffing early in the workout."

Parker's workout on Friday in Cleveland was a disappointment, according to multiple sources. Parker weighed in at 254 pounds with 11 percent body fat, more than 10 pounds above his playing weight at Duke. Sources say the workout was so bad that he appeared disinterested at times.

I have no friends.

I've never said we're not including Burks. Please quote me when I've EVER said that. It's a choice between the #23, Burks or something other than an unprotected pick next year (unclear on the terms Utah might agree to on that one).
