Still wonder why that is? In the NFL, all contracts have to go through the league office. Offer sheets are official as soon as they are vetted by the league, then the team is on the clock to match.

Interesting to me that they renounced Jefferson and Rush, but not Marvin Williams. . . maybe hoping to facilitate a Sign and Trade with a team that doesn't have the cap space to add him otherwise? They did that with Foye last year.

Just have to clear space for Hayward's deal and the Novak trade, I believe. It's a housekeeping issue. But yes, they could do a S&T with Marvin.

I think I am in the minority but I hope that GH's offer wont be matched and that the Jazz would go after Evan Turner and Terrence Jones.

Terrence Jones is nice.

Evan Turner might be the worst defender in the league and he has no jumpshot.

Not interested in Turner but I like Terrence Jones. He is a perfect guy to share the SF with Hood.
 
Why are the Jazz not dumping Lucas III? Let Ian Smith be the third PG. At least Smith can shoot and is more athletic.
