What's new

July 14 SL Exum vs Parker 8:30 MT

Although Hood's night was impressive. Tonight was all about Rudy, the offense, and defense.

Burke's shot wasn't falling but he was hooking Rudy up all night and making great decisions. Didn't chuck and played within the offense. I can't ask for much more than that from him.

Exum's good for about 20 min a night right now. He picked his spots in the first half, but he was grabbing jersey by halftime. He was part of the machine tonight, made all the extra passes and hit a few jumpers. He had multiple hockey passes tonight. He was clearly deferring in the second half, he was done.

Rudy. Got damn. Best player on the court tonight.

Hood. Doing exactly what I expected he's going to be a big part of this team if we can keep him around. Was unconscious tonight. He obviously knows his game and plays within himself. Stoked.

I love Motum's passion and energy. Would not mind if he's the 15th. Not a bad Dleague stash either.

I like Malcolm Thomas. I can see him filling the same role as last year. Could challenge Jeremy Evans for minutes. Maybe.

Overall, the offense was beautiful tonight. Everyone is so willing to pass and make the extra pass. The defense was swarming. Everyone seemed very committed to playing every possession. It was a fun game to watch.

For the Bucks. The Greek Freak is special. I think he's going to be great. I like Wolters, solid backup PG. Jabari was awight. So much Melo in his game, I see a similar career path so far.

Yes. On the old board he was O Gatino. Same antics. Absolutely unchanged.
S.O.B
Wish he were not a byu fan

Hood looks great. I'm sorry if your boy clearly isn't even as good as a rookie. I get it, he's white and looks Mormon.

Also, there's an ignore button. If you don't like my posts, please, hit the ignore.

But yeah, I'm happy for hood and damn pissed that we matched on a guy who can't shoot. Told ya he's replaceable. Lo and behold, we've replaced him with a rookie.
How did Hood shoot in that first game?

Gobert vs. Giannis was pretty fun for those few minutes when they were challenging each other at the rim. Giannis's length is so incredible he can actually drive the lane and come close to extending over Rudy. Just an amazing physical talent.

There are a lot of agendas on this board. There are folks who would rather see the Jazz player they hate suck and prove their opinion right than see themselves proven wrong and have this team succeed. That's ****ing sad.

Hood is exciting.

It's one game. Don't forget his shooting in game one.
It's Summer league.
I hope he is better than Hayward. But Hayward is really good. He's overpaid, but a really good player in this league.

Giannis is really impressive. He's very quick and has a nice ability to spin and pivot. Absolutely destroyed Hood on the first play of the game iirc.

And the dunk on Gobert was sick.

LOLOL. Thriller just negged me. He's on full-tilt after a beautiful game of jazzball.

Lol he negged me too.

There is not agreeing with Hayward's contract, which is understandable.

Then there is being a big baby bitch about it after the fact and using a good day for Jazzfanz as a reason to bring out your big baby bitch personality.

Hayward will be a key player for the Jazz moving forward.Dont you get it,the Corbin cloud is gone, all confidence restored. These guys that have had to play under the worst coach to walk a sideline will all show so much more passion for the game. great time to be a Jazzfan.

It's because no one has been able to debunk the fact that AK's contract royally ****ed over the jazz during their most likely years to win it all, which were in the beginning years of his max contract. Both he and Hayward were point forwards playing in their contract year for terrible teams and were rewarded for inflated stats. How can you not see that?
Because Hayward's contract has ZERO financial impact in the first two years. It doesn't prevent the Jazz from doing anything. Well, I take that back. WE aren't going to trade for Amare's expiring of $22M. Hayward will opt out after year 3; that's the whole purpose of the clause; so he can get the HUGE bump after his 7th year. At worst, the Jazz get a giant trade exception. Do I HATE his contract? Yes, I do. Do I wish he had given Utah a Curry discount (or even a Favors one). Yes, I do.

AK's contract only screwed over the Jazz in the final three seasons and that was ONLY because Larry H. vetoed a couple of trades (allegedly). Hayward's deal is 4 years (unless he opts out). Jazz can keep everyone on the roster without going over the luxury tax threshold.

We shall see.

Snyder hasn't coached a single nba game in his life and youd swear pop, Wooden, Red, and Phil all got together and had a love child. Let's see. I do know that shooters like Hood and excellent drivers like Exum and Burks have places in this league.
