Hayward is definitely entitled to a bad game or two given his play this year.

It's also good for the team in a way. Burks and Kanter need to learn to step it up in the event that Favors/Hayward are having off nights.

Ya and even though he struggled in Toronto, he still shot better than Hayward and trey in that game and had a double double with 10 rebounds

Yep. As.you and I have both noted, Burks has to be better, but this sky is falling attitude some have had is a little ridiculous.

Reading through the game thread I LOL'ed. Don't know why you were panicking - candrew told you exactly what was going to happen.

The chick ref comments aside - make no mistake, she was awful for both sides. NBA should be less concerned about being diverse and more concerned about being competent.
 
For the first quarter and half OKC just flat out whooped the Jazz's collective butts. I thought they were playing dirty basketball and the refs were letting them. Set an imperfect screen, foul. Club a baby seal shooting a layup and nothing. Then Snyder went nuts and the Jazz started dishing out fouls instead of being on the receiving end. Snyder changed the attitude of the players and it worked big time.

Kanter's offense today was just okay for him, but his defense was awesome. Check out Ibaka's shooting percentage. Kanter is starting to put it together on both ends of the court. Burke and Burks played very well. Burke's best game of the year and that little step back dribble and drive was beautiful. Exum was also very good off the bench.
 
Ibaka did a great impersonation of Josh Smith tonight.

In all fairness he's in a position right now where he's being asked to do things where he can't possibly be successful long term.
 
Looking at Ibaka's season stats......

Holy **** he is awful at getting to the foul line. How is someone with his athletic ability that bad? .9 attempts per game. Trey Burke is laughing at those attempts.

Decided to become a jump shooter only...
 
Thought Kanter was good tonight... He has been helping us win and not just putting up empty stats. Starting to turn and help on defense as well... not phenomenal but adequate.
 
Esa was dead for the first quarter and a half. Jazz played like garbage. Once Snyder started screaming everyone woke up. Good to see them make a comeback. Refs were awful and on both sides. NBA officiating has started to look pretty poor this season

Dante actually let the cat out of the bag in the post-game interview tonight. He said they had a team meeting and Snyder called out Alec. Told him he should be getting 10 rebounds every game :D Well... he's executing! Really nice to see...
