Game Thread: Jazz Vs Hogwarts. 4 PM MST

Exum getting schooled. This is very good for him. Kind of bugged me that he didn't take it to the rim after that steal he made though..

Lots of young team/haven't played together turnovers tonight. I remember at least like 3 TOs from passes where the passer expected a cut, but the recipient hangs around the perimeter waiting to receive the pass. Really frustrating to see, but definite growing pains

Gobert just get out of the way on offense please.

Stop blaming their abysmal offense on Gobert! They don't even involve him in the offense and shoot like ****. They don't share the ball! They hand it to Gobert at the top of the key with 5 seconds left on the shot clock. You use a bigman how he's meant to be used with picks, cuts, lobs, etc. Look at the horrendous passing of the Jazz. In your eyes Gobert is useless on offense, but his team does not trust in the pass at all. At least, Burke is using his first-rate picks to get open. Gobert could average 14 points a game if he was included in the offense at all. A good coach uses his players to take advantage of their strengths.

The stats all year have pointed to Gobert hurting our offense tremendously. I'm not a Gobert hater, I'm just not blind.

Gobert can't catch passes in traffic and he can't finish off the pick n roll if anyone is infront of him. Gobert can't average 14 points in any offense.

You are an idiot.

Burks has had a hell of a lot of TOs tonight, but I think he's trying to direct the offense. He's passing to where he feels the best offensive position for the recipient is, and they just aren't getting there. Somewhat positive thing from the TOs.

Superb logic. You've always been one to use logic as you post like a rabbit on Viagra! Look at the last 12 games for these so called stats, Hollinger. And his team does not include him in the offense. What the hell would he average, Nostradamus?

Loved how Ingles passed up that open layup so he could throw a pass to Booker standing 20 feet from the basket. Kanter saved that possession by making a good pass.

Anyone know who number 22 is for the wizards? Is he one of those highly touted players who busted when they came to the league?

Look at the FG% with Gobert on/off the court. Look at the offense rating. Hey, watch the games even! It's not that hard to tell, Gobert is a huge negative for our offense.

I love watching Gobert on defense. I love him when he gets rebounds on offense and dunks the ball when he manages to find himself open. The facts are he can't score on anyone and he struggles to handle passes in light traffic and greatly struggles in heavy traffic. He acts very fiery and tough, but he goes up weaker than Charmin with the ball because he doesn't have strong hands or a strong base.
