Okay, so I posted this in another thread and wanted to start a new thread on it.
Would it be possible for Jazzfanz to have its' only weekly radio show that is then broadcast onto some live internet tv channel? I'm thinking Thursday nights because games are rare on Thursdays and the two co-hosts who may work M-F would be at the tailend of the work week.
We could have two co-hosts (they'd have to be two people Jason would be willing to tie to Jazzfanz) and they could do a one hour radio show during which they talk Jazz basketball, everything from recent games and how we're doing as a team to individual players and where they're excelling or falling short and why, as well as coaching and team executives. During the hour show people could call in of course too. Jazzfanz members calling in would be epic.
Does anyone have any experience in radio? Could we get a midnight-1am time slot MT on some am channel? If so, what would we need? Two co-hosts. They'd have to be willing to do it and probably do it for free. We could probably get peeps for that. A screener? The radio station may already have one anyway. A stats guy from here (i.e., Kenwood) who could email a bunch of analytics to the two co-hosts prior to the show. Get someone who could get Jazz hook-ups for maybe a weekly 5-10 spot from someone from the Jazz. **** would be epic. The revenue it could bring to this site would be off the charts.
How badass would this be? Is it even remotely possible?
