Following potential 2015 draftees

Haha.. that's very cool bro. When you've got a chance you should ask Tai if he speaks "Maori"? Here's a story about Tai signing with UK in Maori (NZ native language)

Tai Wesley is the best Tai in New Zealand.

People are comparing Russell to Steph and I don't think its a great comp. He's a better passer than Steph was at this point and is bigger. I don't think he, or anyone, will have the shot that Curry does. Russell is really good and I think can float between 1 and 2 in the pros, so Exum and him will both work. Running two guards who can shoot and pass is an advantage and I think both can guard both positions.

If we don't get Russell then most want Stanley Johnson. Someone compared him to Ron Artest and I liked it... although he isn't bat **** crazy and he can shoot.

7-12 is a crap shoot. There are some that are championing Booker out of UK. He is a knock down shooter... people comparing him to Klay. Oubre is interesting, Hezonja could be good, and Porzingis could be there... kind of a crap shoot. We need to get in the top 3 or start losing more... tonight would be a good start.

This is a pretty good summary of the board's thoughts on the draft right now.

All right bros, time educate me. Sounds like everyone wants a shooter, the dream scenario is Russell. A PG, so we need another one? His speciality is raining threes? Who would you compare him too? Curry? Have you given up on Exum or do you see him as a SG? If Russell is a top 3 pick then who are we realistically looking at in the 7-12 range where we will be picking? Don't really know anything about prospects this year, it's not like last, I'm rooting for wins every game. But a nice pick will be nice come draft time.

Probly gonna win the lottery tbh.

All great points. For prospects in our range im going to stick my neck out and say Oubre is who id take. I think he could be an Iggy, Kawhi type.

Russell doesn't have the same body type as Mullin. I'd say Hayward is more similar to Mullin.

Booker is probably this year's version of Mullin.

Russell is this year's version of Steph Curry or maybe James Harden.

Mudiay is probably this year's version of Tyreke Evans.

The more I watch those prospects the better I feel about getting a good player at pretty much any spot we might be picking... This draft might be really good at the top 10...

Here's a video from Hezonja's last game in the Euroleague(includes misses):

I think up to about 9-10, we can get a very good prospect. If we luck out and win the lottery I am not really sure if we'd take Russell or Okafor/Towns at this point... Okafor is somewhat of a poor fit for what we already have and the type of basketball we are trying to play, but at the very top you absolutely never should be picking based on need or fit. We should probably just take Okafor and make it work in some way... Or get him and try to use him as a trade bait for borderline all-star...

BTW in a lot of pundits big boards, Towns has been dramatically falling to the point where if they are right we might be in position to get him even with 5-10 pick...

I think Hezonja is going to be a stud---like a bigger, longer Manu Ginobli, the All Star version. He's got a mental edge to him that I really like. He's really versatile.

Replace Joe Ingles with this guy and we're a serious-*** team.

I think we need to remember how good ginobili was/is. Not that i disagree with you about Hezonjas talent but Ginobili is an alltime great. But i feel you Catchall, Hezonja will be solid.
