College Basketball '14-15......

We beat this team by 30+!!

If it's this big a difference being at home we are gonna get bounced really quick in the tourney. It's not a strength to depend so much on your crowd, it's a weakness.

Utah just doesn't pass the eye test for me whenever I have seen them. They are a good team, but I just don't see them beating the upper echelon teams come March.

This. I watched the whole first half and nothing about them seemed impressive. One of the commentators said it best too. Their conference wins were by a margin of something like 24 points and they were blown out by AZ so they'd had no close games and hadn't been in a tight game to that point. Well we saw how they respond in such a situation last night, their mettle or lack thereof and all. I could see them bounced in the first round tbh in a 4-13 matchup.

In the losses this year Delon Wright and Loveridge to a lesser degree since he was injured, have been the biggest disappointments and problems for the U, they've just looked down right soft. I was hoping Loveridge would make a jump this year and I know his 3pt shooting is way up and maybe I need to cut him some slack because of the injury but especially in the losses he has been disappointing. Missing a lot of easy shots and not going hard on defense or rebounding.

Overall though the Utes go how Delon Wright goes. If he's having a rough night most of the time he will do other things like rebound, defense, steals, blocks, assists but on the losses man has he looked horrible. Hopefully he can learn from the UCLA, AZ & SD St games and remember that when he's struggling instead of pressing, tightening up and/or going into a shell and hiding he needs to focus on his energy with rebounds and defense and the rest of the game will take care of itself.

Still it's nice to be having this problem compared to the last few years.

Towns kicking *** in the 1Q. 4/4 with a block, assist, and steal.
Two running hooks, a baseline jumper, and a perimeter move to a finger roll at the rim.

That's more like it, Utes.

USC lol

Pac-12 sucks hard this year, SEC might actually be better.

Mississippi State beat LSU Saturday BTW. LSU has 2 future NBA draft picks at PF on their roster, so it was a pretty good win.

Yeah the Pac-12 is on a down year I have to admit. Colorado have been especially disappointing, I hope Utah take advantage but you never know with the Utes on the road.
