    JazzFanz Fantasy Football

Thanks, Pastramiking. Unfortunately, I've reassessed and can't do another league this year. Regarding betting, the commissioner can remove the betting aspect of the league from Yahoo and you can have people Paypal or Venmo you (more time intensive, of course).

Intrigued if there are still openings. What's the buy-in?

Jazz select Grayson Allen at 21

Allen is much more athletic than Reddick and will be a better player, IMO. I'm not even sure that Reddick can dunk. People like to compare them because they're both white guys who played for Duke, but other than that, they aren't really that similar.

Sportando: Utah Jazz eyeing Nemanja Bjelica

Signs seem to be pointing at us wanting this guy. He doesn't excite me, but I'd take him over Jonas. A decent guy to round out the bench, and I could be wrong, but certainly not good enough to be our next starting PF.

    Tobias Harris?

Harris would be such a good fit on this team. I would give up a pick for him. He's only 25 (which is surprising because it seems like he has been in the league for quite a while). He's the rare PF who can shoot and defend and he has an edge. He can actually get better too. Let Snyder and...

    Karl Antony Towns

Completely agree. I love this team too and am not advocating trading Rudy, but I think people here are being blatant homers and not giving KAT his due. I think a lot of GMs take KAT over Rudy.

Lot of homerism in this thread. I love Rudy, but KAT is no slouch.

    The Stretch 4 Discussion Thread

Agreed. Regarding Parker, another issue is that he is injury prone. After missing Hill in the playoffs last year and Rubio this year, we need players who are generally healthy. There is always risk, but unless it's incredibly cheap, which it won't be, I would not gamble on someone with...

    The Stretch 4 Discussion Thread

Parker would be a huge mistake, IMO. Gordon has improved every year (except for FG% this year because he was chucking up more 3s). I'm not a huge fan, just saying. I generally agree with either value or high upside.

coach of the year results are in.

George Karl was fired in 2013 after winning COY, so wouldn't be the first. Maybe we could pick up Derozan on the cheap.

    The Stretch 4 Discussion Thread

Yeah, there may not be better options this year, but there could be better options next year so I agree that I'd avoid giving him a multiyear agreement (unless it's a ridiculously good contract, which isn't going to happen because someone will pay him this year). Plus, it's easy to forget how...

coach of the year results are in.

Seems odd regarding Stevens. Although if I had my choice no Celtic would ever get another accolade. He doesn't seem douchy though. Ainge on the other hand...

    Ersan Ilyasova and Tyreke Evans

Tyreke would be a good, albeit injury prone, addition. Ersan, on the other hand, I'd personally pass on. He showed some promise earlier in his career, but hasn't really been that great since. He looked heavy and slow much of the last couple of years. I guess he'd be fine as a JJ replacement...

Respect from around the league after the Jazz lose the series to the Rockets

Thank you, JazzAvenues. Fantastic, yet again. Hands down the MVP of this forum. Mamba mentality is apparent.

Mark Bartlestein (Hayward's agent) to be on 97.5/1280 The Zone in 15 minutes

He may be successful, but not particularly impressed by him based on this call. Doesn't mean he's not good at his job, he's just not good in this particular setting.
