You had me at amateur draft analysis. It is so refreshing to have someone accept that none of us are getting paid to do this. I love the draft but I too am an amateur. Hell, I don't even get paid to do psychology unless you count sales in that.
I totally understand the player type response. I...
Here is how it works. I will give a choice of 2 players. You HAVE to choose 1 and then explain why.
George vs Collier
Tshiebwe vs Potter
Markkanen vs Collins
Hendricks vs Williams
Juzang vs Sensabaugh
Harkless vs Springer
Sexton vs Clarkson
Filipowski vs Kessler
Mykhailiuk vs Martin

There is a lot more I want to see than muscle. It is all about improvement, desire, engagement. These are what I want to see. I think he has the talent he just needs to desire to obtain it.
Players can be gangly and still be effective. Look at scottie Pippen. Strength is key.
Kobe brea - i am willing to bet on his shooting.
Tyrese Proctor - has nba role player written all over him.
Bogoljub Markovic - Played in the Nike hoops summit. Willing to bet on his potential.
Adou Thiero - Obvious name but his athleticism and defense is elite.
Maybe not ALL "deep...
The Utah Jazz owe the Oklahoma City Thunder their 2025 first-round draft pick, which is top-10 protected. This pick was part of a trade in 2021 where the Jazz sent Derrick Favors to the Thunder in exchange for a future second-round pick. The protection on the pick will become top-8 protected in...

The best thing the league can do is create competition. That is what made the NBA great in the 90s. Create rivalries everyone will want to watch.
Second the NBA needs to create a vilian...
Cy once made the comparison I have liked about Tre. He is a 6'6" Jordan Clarkson. He has that herky jerky body movement that Clarkson has. He is a better shooter but maybe not the passer Clarkson is but Clarkson wasn't always a good passer either.
I think at 5 it wouldn't be great to get a...
I have thought of this way more than I should. My first thought is hit the teams in the wallet. Maybe penalized the eligible teams on the shared payout for teams under the salary cap.
Maybe penalize the bottom 5 or so teams, in a descending amount.
In addition if you win the lottery you are...
I am on board of draft as many draft and stash players the Jazz can do. It is a war chest like draft picks. The more you have the bigger the chance you have of finding a diamond. They are also almost as valuable as draft picks in trades.
The good news is it shouldn't be hard for Williams to show improvement next year. That is all I want to see next year is improvement.
I am willing to give him till year 3 before I jump ship on Williams. Unlike some here I do see some talent.
