I am not really sure about the fair share, as concerned the tax pay by rich people, usually the people who get their sallaries after deduction of taxes are most consistent and major number of tax paying individuals.

I think that would better to remain with in your race and religion as to avoid any such issues. As there could be lots of complications in having any such relations. But anyhow the more important thing is your self-respect and understanding. If it's there then nothing would be better than that.
