Why would Amazon buy the rights to material that has already been so well put to film? I don't understand that. At all. Why would you not buy the rights to material that is still untapped?

Based on what I have seen and heard the series gets cancelled within 2 seasons.

That's the biggest complaint so far. It is VERY loosely based on these works.
