the stage of the draft where we start to overthink everything. at the end of the day he averaged 20 ppg on 56% TS in the toughest conference in cbb on a team that had nobody else who could score so was the sole focus of every SEC defense he played against.

reminds me a lot of cody williams in terms of his lack of production and just disappearing in a lot of games but apparently has a lot of upside. so i guess in that sense it wouldn't surprise me if the jazz love him.

it's the level of competition and production. and he's younger at draft time than any of them.

the combination of THAT production at THAT level of bball at THAT age is rare air. back end of the lottery at worst. if he lasts until 21 you praise jesus.

so crazy that there is a (basically) 50% chance that the team with the worst record gets the 5th pick in the draft. but that's what the nba has done to avoid rewarding tanking and i can appreciate that. sucks when it's your team, but it's a solid "safety" measure.
