I really like what you are saying. Two years or three years sounds about right. Doesn't hockey/baseball do something where a player can be drafted by the professional league and still play a couple years of college/minor league until they get their professional contract? Larry Bird did it...
Concerning Hezonja's ego; I feel like a lot of scouts are just repeating something some guy said in 2011. I'm amazed he hasn't been humbled at least somewhat having to play so very few minutes for Barcelona for three straight years. I can see where American players can get the "me" mentality...
I thought you were joking about Patterson being 3 and D at first, or you meant someone else, but checked stats and he's incredible from three this year (and wasn't bad last year).

I agree with pretty much all of this.
At this stage, we could either watch Trey play crappy or Dante play crappy as neither would be a "top starter" in the league now. It isn't very likely Trey ever will be, but that being said, he probably will make a fantastic bench player in a few years...
