Yeah, I've only got one Root channel. My provider is Cable One. Ugh, this sucks. With my luck the "root alt" channel is only available if you live within a certain distance of SLC, and League pass isn't an option because I live just close enough to the blackout zone to get blacked out. :(
Anyone else having this problem, or can explain why I might be alone in having it? I thought Root Sports was showing the game tonight, but my cable provider is showing College football all night. I did not have this problem the last two games...
The defense is an absolute joke (for both teams, but I'm particularly disappointed in the Jazz's effort). To rub salt in the wound, we're not even seeing three of Detroit's better players (granted, McGrady may or may not fit that description).
Solid, solid win. One of the more satisfying games I've watched this year. Is this game more ammo for those that think Millsap and AJ will rarely both have good games at the same time? Seemed like Millsap was completely out of it on offense. Still, fun game.
This was mentioned by me and a few others in the game thread, but deserves another for the total lack of irony on Harp's part and the awkward silence that followed . . . I mean you'd think if Boler had an ounce of actual respect for Harp he would have tried to rescue the latter in some fashion...
Correction - they said the Jazz haven't had a lead since the Detroit game, much less won a quarter. I'd also like to add my appreciation to Harpring for "disturb . . . able". That was sweet.
What a bleh game. Got sort of interesting at the end of the 4th but this team hasn't looked right all year - it's just we're fresh out of miracle comebacks (even Millsap couldn't hit a 3 in 2 attempts, amazingly). 3pt defense matches the worst I've seen from us in the D-Will era but in this...
That's true enough (on big Al). He's been missing gimmes - if he gets the same shots in the second half I expect them to start dropping. Millsap is struggling a bit with Dirk's length.
Weird half. It feels like we played like crap but somehow we're up. Considering both Bell and Jefferson have been nearly invisible on offense (and Millsap, too, for the most part) it's hard to complain.
Out of all the bad teams in the league, I think they have the most talent. Eventually, they'll start winning some games. But 35 might be a tad optimistic, yes.
It's remarkable how few wins that Clippers team has, considering the talent they can run out there (esp when Kaman plays). Griffin will win some games by himself. I'd expect them to win at least 35 games this year on talent alone.
It definitely helped putting more length out there against...
