I'd rather trade up to 5 or 6 and not take that contract. The Jazz would be hunting someone specific that they're high on if they want to move up. Jazz can probably sit at #10 and take Knecht.

I think Kessler + 10 for 1 is about as good as they could get and why would they want that after the stinker year Walker had? Giving up the #1 pick is just such a gamble because if the pick hits you are getting clowned forever.

Not sold on drafting another guard. I think we’re pretty deep there still and not ready to move off Dunn. Dalton Knecht for the win at 10 and Zach Edey at #29 should he fall that low - fat chance on that one!

It’s just a hypothetical question. They have a lot of young guys who need more minutes. We also sent a second for John Collins and he had his best year in a while. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t dump him in an instant.

Brooks is a key player for them, he played well and they all they hoped for and more. If Brooks was a FA this year, they would 100% give him his contract again. Same cannot be said for Collins. We also got rid of Gay' contract in the trade and a second round pick is nowhere close to the value between #3 and #10.

Alright buddy thanks for taking the fun out of a purely hypothetical trade on a Jazz fan website where I didn’t put much thought into the other teams side. You win today congratulations.

It’s extremely easy to say, yes I would do it but I don’t think Houston would. Very simple.

I feel so bad about taking out the "fun" in discussing extremely one sided trades. I'll give back some fun and ask if anyone would trade #3 for #10 straight up? That is a more balanced trade.
