I think we were definitely in it to win it, even Hardy due to the draft implications. The players seemed pretty stoked when they got it done.Don't know if I've seen a Jazz PG completely control a game like Collier did during the first 7 minutes of the 3rd quarter.
Thought for a while that Hardy made the all-time tank substitution when he took out Collier and Kessler after that point in the 3rd, but Jazz managed to eke it out anyway.
Yes 17 steals for the wolves is a shocking stat. Jazz overcame it by outrebounding them by 20. I love how the Jazz pushed the ball. They are fast and athletic. Collier is great but he still needs to cut down on his turnovers. He has improved a lot. I don't want to trade Sexton. He is a dog and can take over JC's role being the sparkplug off the bench. Flip had his offensive moments but he needs to really improve his defense. He was left standing alone losing his guy several times. The Jazz have plenty of offense but right now their halfcourt defense is bad, second to their poor defense getting back. Jazz will have some tough decision to make in the next couple of years if their rookies continue to improve. Just a note here but if you watched this game you can see how important Rudy is to the T-wolves defense. Jazz were dunking and driving to the basket any time they wanted to do so.Jazz survived 20 turnovers.
