Following Potential 2025 Draftees

You must not have watched the whole game. He has 10 pts and 4 assists and 4 rebounds.
I watched the whole game. I rarely heard his name he had little to no bearing on the game, and in a game where Utah were complete idiots on defense and he’s supposed to be a mid first round pick.

Johni Broome in a 2 point OT loss to #7 Alabama:
43 minutes
34 points on 15/28 FG (2/4 from 3)
8 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 blocks, 3 steals
Only 1 TO and 2 PF

Do wonder who wins PotY between Broome and Flagg.

Would probably give it to Broome just because Flagg is going to get a decade plus of accolades in the NBA.

He actually had one of his better games.
In his 26 minutes he had his season average in points while exceeding his season average in efficiency, he exceeded his season average in assists, he exceeded his season average in rebounds, and he was way below his season average in turnovers. Also Utah went on their biggest run of the game while he was on the bench.

It may have looked like he had little bearing on the game and his name wasn't called all that much but that is typical for Demin. I watch all of BYU games and Demin typically isn't very good. Last night he was better than he usually is though. Probably due to the quality of the opponent.

How the hell is he considered a mid first round worthy prospect then? Watching the game I barely even noticed he was even there.

Demin is like most the prospects in a draft. You are drafting what he could be. He was splitting double teams with a behind the back dribble that lead to a wide open corner 3. Then on defense he was guarding the other team's center. Yes he makes bad decisions sometimes. Yes his strength limits his ability to get good shots. Yes he would be a project. But the upside is there.
