Trump basically got elected because eggs were expensive.
Does no one remember early November 2024? It wasn't all that long ago.
Bitch I have so many eggs I threw one out today! #eggmoney
Trump basically got elected because eggs were expensive.

Yes, we all remember. The democrats ran a senile old man who finally beat Medicare, then cancelled democracy to install the unlikable VP who gave no interviews for a month. November 2024 wasn't that long ago and nobody cared about eggs.Trump basically got elected because eggs were expensive.

I literally just said that in my post that you eye rolled.Trump basically got elected because eggs were expensive.

Maybe I missed the sarcasm or something.I literally just said that in my post that you eye rolled.
Cultists have to memory hole inconvenient facts quickly or risk feeling their identity threatened. Kind of like how morals were important until your side nominates a moral degenerate or how balancing the budget is important until your side spends like a drunken sailor or like securing classified information was like super important until your side sends classified war plans to a journalist. You see what I’m saying?Trump basically got elected because eggs were expensive.

So funny that they didn't get it.NO ONE OPPOSED TO TRUMP IS OUTRAGED ABOUT EGG PRICES.
EGG PRICES ARE A JOKE BASED ON HOW MUCH THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN CAPITALIZED ON HIGH EGG PRICES.
How do you not get this?
ThisSo funny that they didn't get it.
Biden didn't control egg prices. trump doesn't control egg prices.
Egg prices isn't part of the POTUS job description. It never was.
trumpers were stupidly acting like egg prices was Bidens job. trump haters are making fun of trumpers when blaming trump for egg prices.
Plus the is the added hilarity of trump saying that egg prices is actually his job and that he would lower them on day.
Washington Post reports on the developing chaos at the Social Security Administration, and SS offices around the country. I hear Republicans have been asking Trump to have Musk shut up already with his SS comments, but meanwhile this report tells part of the story, as to effects so far. Break SS first, privatize it in due course, IMO, is a bottom line goal. No paywall.
Long waits, waves of calls, website crashes: Social Security is breaking down
The Social Security Administration website crashed four times in 10 days this month because the servers were overloaded, blocking millions of retirees and disabled Americans from logging in to their online accounts. In the field, office managers have resorted to answering phones in place of receptionists because so many employees have been pushed out. Amid all this, the agency no longer has a system to monitor customer experience because that office was eliminated as part of the cost-cutting efforts led by Elon Musk.
And the phones keep ringing. And ringing.
The federal agency that delivers $1.5 trillion a year in earned benefits to 73 million retired workers, their survivors, and poor and disabled Americans is engulfed in crisis — further undermining the already struggling organization’s ability to provide reliable and quick service to vulnerable customers, according to internal documents and more than two dozen current and former agency employees and officials, customers and others who interact with Social Security….
…..The turmoil is leaving many retirees, disabled claimants, and legal immigrants needing Social Security cards with less access or shut out of the system altogether, according to those familiar with the problems.
“What’s going on is the destruction of the agency from the inside out, and it’s accelerating,” Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) said in an interview. “I have people approaching me all the time in their 70s and 80s, and they’re beside themselves. They don’t know what’s coming.”
King’s home state has the country’s oldest population. “What they’re doing now is unconscionable,” he said.
Leland Dudek, who became acting commissioner after he fed data to Musk’s team behind his bosses’ backs, has issued a series of rapid-fire policy changes that have created chaos for front-line staff. Under pressure from the secretive Musk team, Dudek has pushed out dozens of officials with years of expertise in running Social Security’s complex benefit and information technology systems. Others have left in disgust.
Alarmed lawmakers are straining to answer questions back home from angry constituents. Calls have flooded into congressional offices. AARP announced Monday that more than 2,000 people a week have called the retiree organization since early February — double the usual number — with concerns about whether benefits they paid for during their working careers will continue. Social Security is the primary source of income for about 40 percent of older Americans.
Trump has said repeatedly that the administration “won’t touch” Social Security, a promise that aides say applies to benefit levels that can be adjusted only by Congress. But in just six weeks, the cuts to staffing and offices have already taken a toll on access to benefits, officials and advocates say.

Republicans Just Made It Easier for Banks to Screw People Over
The Senate has voted to roll back a key consumer protection.newrepublic.com
What this tells you is that Hawley is the only republican senator not cashing checks from the bank lobbyists. The resolution passed in the Senate on a nearly party-line vote of 52–48.
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley was the only Republican to oppose the measure. “Why would we help the big banks at the expense of working people?” Hawley said, after the vote. “I just don’t understand it.”
Every Senate Democrat voted against the measure.
Senator Elizabeth Warren, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Banking Committee who helped establish the CFPB, slammed her Republican colleagues for undermining the consumer to help big banks. “Senate Republicans would rather you didn’t find out they just voted to give the biggest banks billions in profits from overdraft fees that kick working people when they’re down. Disgraceful,” she wrote on X Thursday.
Republicans be like "**** the poors!"
Your such an ignorant communist cuck. What this tells you is that Hawley is the only republican senator not cashing checks from the bank lobbyists.
