I just wish Brice could pass at all. Not even that he's selfish, but when he tries to pass it's usually late and wildly off target.

I think some of these guys need a regular role playing with familiar faces. He's played more with Key lately and the chemistry link there is pretty decent.

This lineup with Flip at the 5 is holding up defensively, albeit against the Rockets' 2nd unit. They've gotten three consecutive stops and turned them into run-outs.

Collier is really tough when he gets even half a step going downhill.

Brice just has to learn not to be an extreme negative that everything that isn't shooting.

I don't even think his defense is all that bad, but he has to be able to do the little things on offense, like make passes that aren't directly to the other team

Everything about this season needs to be take into context with this tanking situation. Brice (and every other young player) has been afforded a level of freedom and responsibility that is probably more than what they would get in a real, winning situation. It's pretty obvious that Brice is often doing too much, but it doesn't mean he has to be in this role his whole career. Brice will either improve his decision making at the current level of responsibility he has or he will scale back into a role that requires less decision making. I think both paths land on him being a player in this league and he doesn't really strike me as a selfish player who requires the higher level of responsibility and larger role.

It is more than reasonable to think that a 21 year old can improve his decision making and IQ over time, so I'm excited to see how his development goes.
