JT Toppin returning to school. I thought he might be a sleeper option for the Jazz with the Twolves pick, depending on where that lands.
Edit: NIL is having a real effect. It's risk-free rookie-scale, or better, for a lot of these guys, and for half the number of games.

What rate is NIL expected to grow for individual stars? It's grown so much the past 3 years. Maybe these guys will give getting 5 million contracts soon.A mid first round pick will be guaranteed close to $10M over two seasons and if they aren’t JHS and make it to the end of their rookie deal it’s double that. For anyone in the top 20 it is 100% the better financial decision to go to the NBA, but if you’re not guaranteed to go first round I think taking the $3-5M from NIL is reasonable if you love college.
The bigger impact it has on players staying, the more valuable lottery picks will be and the more that picks will be worth which will make them harder to acquire and will again raise the incentive to tank. What rate is NIL expected to grow for individual stars? College players should be paid, but this Wild West of NIL and the portal ****ing blows.

i've always said players and coaches don't tank. hardy isn't going to pull his rookie 2nd rd pick because he's too dominant. coaches only tank to the extent that the FO directs them to do so. no chance they are going to pull a rookie because he's playing too well. The Jazz could have tanked last night with more Tshibwe and Svi and less Flip, especially when Portland pulled Sharpe and Camara off the floor for OT. I'm surprised the Jazz would be that casual.

lol. the reality is that simply hasn't happened. You must have been under a rock this past couple of months. Coaches have blatantly been tanking their *** off and even sitting their rookies when they're playing well.
the reality is that hasn't happened.
So I googled this and got some answersThe NIL money seems like an awful lot to be paying these players
Can these college players now sign endorsements and do commercials
So now coaches and colleges can't be fired or penalized for even buying someone a hotdog
Where is this money coming from?
The schools or rich supporters?
