    Jazz Themed Players in Vegas

On a serious note I think Bradley had improved his finishing on the pick and roll and on alley-oops. Two key parts of the jazz offense for bigs. Also his general conditioning and strength are better. He still has a long ways to go. But I think his rebounding will keep him on the floor.

News, rumors and buzz around the draft and free agency

I like him too but he might be too expensive for us. I also like Vonleh. Or DeMarre Carroll

So is Bojan's options. We should be able to get a fair deal.

For our need at the 4 I got my eye on Jamychal Green and Vonleh.

News, rumors and buzz around the draft and free agency

I wonder if the Jazz are going all in wing depth. And figuring they work out the bigs with minimum contracts.

58th pick - Miye Oni - traded from Warriors

I can see it with Oni. He has size, athletic ability and can shoot. I can see it with JWF for shooting and athletic ability. Brantley averaged less then a block a game at 6'7" with a 7'+ wingspan. That is suspect to me.

    Jazz Summer League Thread

Bradley has to show something this time around. Ideally he'll show dominate rebounding, rim-protection, smart pick'n'roll D and make some 15 foot jumpers. He isn't going to magically be able to jump.

    Your New Jazz Back Court

Umm Curry is 6'3" and Thompson is 6'7". Conley is 6'1" and Mitchell is 6'3".

    Open roster spots

Thaddeus Young. Zach Lowe's podcast was talking about how Young was the old man out of their big rotation. Maybe he wants a big role for a year.

Sources: Bobby Portis significantly interested in Utah

My eye test says he plays no D. And the basketball reference stats back that up. I would rather pursue someone like Thaddeus Young.

Jazz select Justin Wright-Foreman with the 53rd pick

Watched a little of JWF. -struggled against NC State's pressure and athletes and get several passes deflected -made more positioning mistakes defensively than I would expect of a player of his experience -on the bright side he can really shoot, drive and pass So hopefully he can clean up his...

You're the GM this offseason. What do you do?

I am consigned to the fact we are keeping Favors. So that limits our options quite a bit. We need to get a starter quality guard. I think we might be able to get Jeremy Lamb for 12-15 MM. He isn't really a play maker but I can't think of better player that we have enough capspace for.

This matches what I have always understood.

    Jussie Smollet

I ride the bus frequently in downtown houston. We get all kinds of people downtown: aggressive panhandlers, literally crazy people that scream at stop lights and everyone else who is just trying to get home from work. But the point is you have to play this game were you watch sketchy people of...

Utah Jazz vs. Brooklyn Nets 5:30pm MST

I think we are going to be energized to have a mostly healthy Donovan.

    My GM plan

Maybe Igor likes Exum. But the Suns aren't going to let go of Bridges that easily. But Josh Jackson might be available. Though he cannot shoot.

    NBA SUMMER LEAGUE 2018

A few observations across all the Jazz Summer league games Allen has been getting into the paint to pass very effectively. He can't take the next step and finish right now. Allen seems to know all the options and makes good decisions. Allen seems to be leaning back on some of his open...
