This was a weird, weird game. Williams played well, Martin shows up and balls, Keyonte shows up and shoots a better percentage from three than he does the charity stripe, and Jeff Green shows us his game ages like wine (his game is so much more efficient than when he was in his 20s).
His threes looked nice. Not much arc but those that went in all swished. He also got away with a push-off when he nailed a shot near the free throw line; I was so stoked the refs let that one go. It was also nice to see Kyle shine.
Ainge is going to have Rodney Hood sip from a golden chalice and all the Jazz players will drink from it and all will contract the Rodney Hood diarrhea bug and will be out for weeks. Tank secured. We'll call it The Rodney Hood Toilet Tank.
I read something about his finger as well as his hip. It makes me wonder if it's the same finger he screwed up last season when he had that dunk on Collins. Earlier in the month Edwards was out with an illness. The dude seems to be falling apart.
Based on last night's game Anthony Edwards' finger injury could be worse than thought. We'll see what happens tonight when OKC plays them. Wolves are sitting at the 7 seed but are a mere 3.5 games out of 11th and 2.5 out of 10th.
Now that he's back I want to see Williams get more minutes. It would be amazing if all our RCs played solid the last 30 games but at least we can see what Cody Coyote has by throwing him in the fire game after game. It worked for Collier.
Toronto wins. It's looking like a 4-team race to the bottom. As long as we don't finish at 4 I'm happy but of course the benefit of the worst seed is at worst being in the top-5 and the 2nd seed at worst being in the top-6.
