Yeah but according to you he’s a can’t miss, once in a lifetime talent, no????
Why not take him with the fourth round pick as a backup or stash him for 2-3 years???
What are they thinking passing on himmmm????
Dunno, sometimes the circumstances are such that things turn out the way they do.
Remember the Dwight’s Magic team that made it all the way to the NBA Finals with “Skip to my lou” Rafer Alston at the point while Jameer Nelson was injured?
Jameer Nelson came back to play in the Lakers Finals...
Well then all 32 teams are apparently “incompetent” as they all passed on him for 4 rounds.
Except the Browns - who epitomises the very definition of incompetency.. LOL!!!
Manning, Allar, Sellers, Nusmeier, Lamaleava, Klubnik…
That’s not even naming your guy.
Look, this year just wasn't a year for QBs, it was a year for DTs. So it makes sense to grab one of those 6 next year (or 5 if you discount Manning).
Well all i can say is they just don’t think he can be a franchise QB. To me he just isn’t big enough and could be injury prone in the NFL with all the players gunning for him.
Also the Steeelers has a pretty strong culture where noone’s above anyone else, and Shedeur and his dad just dont seem...
Well like I said if we win a tonne of games with Rodgers and catch lightning in a bottle then let’s have one last chance at the ring.
If it all turns to custard and we suck then we’ll be bad enough to grab a future franchise QB.
It’s a genius win/win plan.
We’ll have a few compensatory picks to move up next year to grab a quality QB cos we’ve let a few players go.

It’s all part of the plan that only some fans who follow the team closely see.
Cos if you get Shedeur this year and draft a better QB next year you’re heading to a potential drama filled year next year. Plus this year you have no chance to win while Shedeur learns to play.
By getting Rodgers we can try to catch lightning in a bottle this year with hopefully a playoff run...
