Collier Starting Over Keyonte: Are We Happy?

I like this. He's a secondary advantage-creator/playmaker. Put him next to a primary guy like Kasparas and things could turn for the better in a hurry.

Collier Starting Over Keyonte: Are We Happy?

just remember that you've said this the next time you quasi-scold another poster for not providing good evidence for their claim.

Collier Starting Over Keyonte: Are We Happy?

someone predicted this awhile ago: https://jazzfanz.com/threads/number-of-regular-season-games-before-collier-becomes-the-starting-pg.219647/

    2024-2025 Tank Race

I want to agree with you, but there are too many signs that next year could be a tankjob, too.

    The Lauri Thread

The version of Lauri we got in his first two seasons in Utah was one of the most unique players in the league. The way he combined (a) extreme gravity on the perimeter with (b) extreme rim pressure if a defender overplayed his hand on the perimeter was awesome to watch. For Lauri's sake, and for...

    Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Kas threads the first and the second needle of the pass. His skills realllllly leap off the screen to me.

    Following Potential 2025 Draftees

my question was about prospects, though. I remember LaMelo well enough to feel confident that Kas is a better passer at the prospect stage. I dunno bros.... I guess I just think Kas is the kind of passer that doesn't come around every draft or even every 3 drafts.

    Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I got Kas on a tier above all the guys you just named. Love me some Wolf, doe.

    Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I'm not a draft guy anymore, so I'm unable to answer this question..... When was the last time there was a prospect with Kasparas's level of passing on his resume? Do we have to go back to Doncic?

"still"? Dude has done nothing but cement his top-4 status, imo.

elite passing. He doesn't just make the right reads, he also delivers passes where only his guy can get it (even if that makes the point of delivery somewhat unorthodox). I love this kid.

Is he the same guy who went by the name Hack (way back in the day)? These are the only two usernames that have stunk at that level, iirc.

    2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

Dreaming.... If we trade Walker, then it better be for the asset (or a big part of the combination of assets) that allows us to trade up from the MIN pick to get Kasparas. We also trade Collin or Sexton for the pick that gets us Wolf. The Jazz walk away from this draft with Flagg, Kasparas, and...

    Looking ahead to 2025-2026

I don't believe that Flagg, Sexton, Lauri, Kessler, Collins, and the rest of the young core is safely in the bottom 8. Even if you trade Sexton and Collins, I'm not sure you get under that bar. If bottom 8 is the goal, then I hope they trade Lauri for a good haul and to insure that it happens.

    Jazz Suns trade

yeah, my assumption here is that Phx is gunning for a good last squeeze out of the KD-Booker era. I don't think they've got some kind of long-term/recovery plan.

I want the Jazz to lose.

I'm not disagreeing with you. But how would you characterize Key's improvement? From today's ESPN Power Rankings: "Guard Keyonte George has spent a majority of his two NBA seasons as a starter but needs to improve his production to make a convincing case to secure his spot in the Jazz's...
