    2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Is the big man finally back?! Hard not to be increasingly positive on those guys given the absolute crap at the top of the draft board this year.

    Paul George anyone ??

I think there's a negative chance Paul George and Jimmy Butler would want to play out the last years of their prime (ish) in Utah.

Just can't imagine him being on the board at 8/9.

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

There is still so much to unlock with Evan Mobley. A big part of me wonders what he could do in a better org with better player development. Wouldn't surprise me a bit to see him become an all-NBA guy with a change of scenery.

I'll trust your judgment there. I know very little about either.

    2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

I admittedly hadn't watched much (any) Tidjane Salaun until I saw him mocked #15 right there. After watching 5 minutes of highlights and glancing Eurobasket - he certainly looks intriguing. Good shooting mechanics, length, bouncy athlete, solid finisher. We could do worse...

Best things about the 2024 Playoffs

Edwards vs. Wemby would be an interesting debate in a fantasy draft scenario - who would you build a team around for 10-15 years? Hard to go against Wemby, IMO. He's just absurd.

Best things about the 2024 Playoffs

I'm enjoying watching Anthony Edwards becoming perhaps the best player in the NBA. The Suns are cooked, but he absolutely killed a team with two elite playoff vets in Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, at 22 years old. He's a once-every-ten-years alpha dog and just super fun to watch. Inner-circle...

Best Playoff Outcomes for Jazz Trades

Not that I can think of, nor saying it's at all I likely. It's a pipe dream. I just drool over adding Mobley to this team - he's in the top 3-5 guys league-wide I'd be most excited about adding. You're right that they are in a unique spot and don't have to blow anything up. It could be as...

Best Playoff Outcomes for Jazz Trades

There is so much to unlock there still with Evan Mobley. He has barely scratched the surface. Unfortunately I doubt even they'd be dumb enough to part with him. But you never know.

Best Playoff Outcomes for Jazz Trades

My dream scenario: 1) Cavs blow this 2) They decide to completely blow things up 3) Jazz swoop Evan Mobley

    Devin Booker?

100% yes. He's a no brainer. Just about a perfect fit alongside Lauri/Keyonte if we wanted to build around that trio.

    2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

He could. But IMO the same could be said for about 10-12 guys. I see Shep and I see a rich-man's Payton Pritchard. Not bad but I have a hard time with him in the top 5.

The Official We Must Draft Cody Williams Thread!

He's somewhere in the 3-5 range of my "favorite" prospects (using that word very liberally) but I just cannot imagine he slips to 8-9. IMO we'd almost have to move up for him, and if we move up, I'd rather it be for Knecht.

Would be thrilled with Castle, but I'd have a really hard time taking him over Knecht.

If KAT becomes available should Jazz be interested?

At the right price? Abso-freaking-lutely. His "fit" on that team has changed with the addition of Gobert and emergence of Anthony Edwards, but he's still one of the best offensive big men in basketball. A lineup of two 50-40-90 (ish) 7 footers would be extremely potent. We could probably...

    Exit Interviews

I can tell you on good authority they have been extremely active in trade discussions over the past 18 months, and I assume they will continue to do so. But DA is smart to not blow his wad (pardon my French) out of some anxiety-ridden false sense or urgency. He is value-oriented and will always...

    Exit Interviews

I'm sorry - you're comparing Kansas Dok with Purdue Edey?

    Exit Interviews

DA's comments on Edey were awesome. Hit the nail on the head. Sounds like NBA teams are as conflicted as we are. Hands down the most polarizing prospect I can remember. Open and shut best player in the country in college with a completely opaque NBA future.

    Exit Interviews

Danny is a gem. Freaking loved his exit interview. Guy is a non-emotional, dispassionate killer when it comes to building a winning franchise. Question him at your own peril. He has a vision and they are executing it right now.
