Unless it’s a pick early in the 2nd - now that you can do a 4 year deal with those guys. I’ll forever believe that the best use for most 2nd round picks is adding older college guys who get overlooked or young foreign guys who are hard to judge until they get more experience.

Ryan Smith loves him. I’m sure the Jazz just overvalue him vs. other teams based on that. Aside from the tank, I don’t care either way. Genuinely awesome dude and a great locker room guy. I’m surprised there isn’t more demand for him, but it just depends on what the Jazz are asking for.

Seems like there’s an increased amount of trade-n-flip deals going on this year. Teams are acquiring a guy in a bigger trade and then flipping him to another team in a smaller, non-aggregated deal elsewhere. Or is this pretty normal, and it just feels like it’s more this year?

At this rate, I’d be shocked if there’s not st least one more huge move to finish off the deadline. I’d also be shocked if the Jazz stay out of the mix. Feels like there’s more cooking with all the moves that other tanking teams are making right now.
