So are fourth and above all ‘lottery’ slots and we got a 15% shot at each as they come up (minus the virtual balls of teams already off the board, so technically better than 15% and increasing each round we slide) and then at 5 it reverts to record order of the teams remaining?
Agree w/this generally, but still most concerned about his motor. That is usually the cutoff for people w/physical gifts in the NBA between really being pretty good or not.
Yeah, they really, really tried to devalue the worst record for the draft- everyone is ‘against the field’ so the only really valuable part is raising the floor order your pick.
His actual shooting form is pretty pure, his main issue is how he sets his feet (or doesn't.) You could generally see that in he often made shots where he was slightly rushed and not thinking too much- it was pure/pretty and swishes.
He's just going to get better. If we could possibly get him...
Looking at the boxscore confirms what I was seeing before turning off the game- Secton/Clarkson/KMart had horrific games to overcome good play by most everyone else.
Kinda sorta- just remember how little Kessler helps the Jazz defensive numbers.
A player’s offensive capabilities seriously affect defensive numbers- if you’re clanging a bunch of three pointers, leading to fast breaks, or turn the ball over a lot, leading to a bunch of live ball turnovers...

Collier - has an elite NBA skill, speed, and passing is near elite and could become so
Flip - his numbers looking so good so soon is very promising
Key - has to bring his D out of league basement to move up this list
Cody - keeps showing flashes- has potential to be a starter and...
It definitely landed with a thud in this game. Luckily we'll all be fine with it if it takes 10-15 games for everyone to get over their hurt feelings...
His plus/minus was horrific. But hopefully his D comes along, we knew that was where his challenge was/is and it will be the difference between being a journeyman and being a starter level player.
He's fine going to the basket. If he was a zero in his personal offense, then it'd be one thing, right now it's generally his outside shot in an offense that features the three. Regardless, he's piling up assists and making it work for the team despite his 3 being MIA. Once he gets it going...
Between playing with AJ and the scouting eyes that come with that, and NIL, I'm guessing he comes back, unless his agent is hearing he goes in the first round.
