We are not roasted, but jazz have to figure out how to handle physical games better. Portland got up into jazz players and it worked again tonight. Jazz just need to adjust, and attack a bit more on defense
Something not really considered, but very much could have been part of this is dimentia.
It starts almost unnoticble... less patience and makes decision making slightly less rational. Can gradually onset over years.
This may have had touches of that going on.
And we got Favors, who is still helping us today.
Sloan may have already had early stages of dimentia setting in, it starts very subtle very early as well... kinda messes with judgement
We are not winning a title this year. Let DM do his thing, watch tape and learn.
I guarantee the 4Q performance is going to give him future confidence no amount of tape watching will.
A summer with the staff, he’s gonna be scary next year.
In the meantime chill out and enjoy this rookie...
Agree there is no way to know what would have happened. However, it left the spurs up 1 instead of tied. That does not change the Spurs stragegy on the last shot... of your up you would still want the last shot.
Which had he made a 3pt play out of it could have helped the Jazz win the game and change playoff standings substantially.
Pretty bad 4pt swing in the Atlanta loss after a no-call as well.
Good point. I guess I should have said potentially ignorant. Maybe it’s a shooting slump, maybe it’s an injury, maybe it’s built up frustrations, or maybe it’s something else. All I’m saying is fans probably don’t know what it is (although I’m sure we all have our opinions).
Not saying you do this, but I love how fans always get mad at players for leaving to take more money “they already make millions, do they need a few more??”, but then act like they have the right to treat players anyway they want because they pay “good money” or “hard earned money” to watch...
That’s my point.... It’s still just as relevant to the coulda/shoulda/woulda threads.
(For those that don’t get it, AG went at 4th, the pick ahead of the Jazz, but was a bit of a surprising pick)
Everyone wants to look back and selectively pick out the times when they were right, and throw...

His jersey from his very first nba game is being auctioned off. Probably going to fetch a pretty good price...
