At first, I wasn't too into the era rule but really wound up liking it. I think Sabonis fell victim to too much of his career being outside of the NBA. That is like how a lot of the really dominant ABA players always fall to the later rounds.

Yeah. I think that in these things, there's always a recency bias towards players that you've seen or thought about. Although I do have to say, my final three choices were Korver, Majerle and JJ Redick. And the last time I did one of these, I would've never consider Kyle or JJ.
