    Draft Day(s) Predictions

Changed my predictions: Trade Kessler and 10 and select Clingan with 5. Trade 29 and 32 and select Tyler Kolek with 22. We acquire a mid 2nd and draft Chomche (stash). Or dare I say his name...... Yongxi aka Jacky Can (stash - sorry, I am in love). We trade vets like Clarkson and/or Sexton...

Edey + defenders, floor spacers sounds like a doable recipe. Up his value and you can trade him later for ultimate stretch 5 which you already have in Lauri.

His corner three is already good. I think high teens. I would love him. Williams or Carter (both defenders) Edey Dunn (Dunn and Edey pairing would be fantastic).

Some GMs respect the Pelton numbers so I think there are going to be a few shifts in the draft.

    Off-Season Rumblings

I know there are flaws in this trade but I like it as an unusual trade to enhance a future pick. Minny would lose Reid but get another creator that they need. Jazz: Clarkson + Yurt + 2025 Minny pick top 10 protected + plus we return a swap.+ Plus a player we pick in the 2nd. Reid can be...

They also get older and the 2027 and 2029 could be real good when Conley and Clarkson retire. Maybe trade for Naz Reid and give them 2025 back, a swap back and get 2029 removed.

And just FYI, we could trade a player still to Minny for a complete removal of protections on the 2029 which I think long-term is high value smart move. Maybe send them Clarkson for that removal. And they could use Clarkson in the playoffs.

Lakers are targeting Sexton. Remove the '27 protections (I equate that to the value of a FRP), this years Laker pick no.17, and give a good contract/player back then I would do it. Maybe give them the 32nd pick.

Shep, Walter, McCain are the top 3 guards according to Pelton. Castle is 4th.

He would retain his value a bit longer if that is the case.

Williams has the best finishing numbers yet he is super skinny. I think he gets better when his body fills out and he could be an all-star or all-star quality. He defends and does all the things. The motor seems off but when you work with sports psychologist that could also change.

I think SAS selects Williams instead of Castle at 4. Then selects Carter at 8.

    Off-Season Rumblings

I like the OKC deal and remove protections. Imagine having 10, 11, 12. What? Do we move up and get Castle or someone?

Jazz and Bulls are in active trade discussions regarding Zach LaVine

The plan for Zach is to have him return to form next year and then use him in a trade for an allstar or draft assets.

I would give them Yurt too and get a pick back and free up more cap for big game hunting. Clarkson is great contract to flip in 6+ months. One more year and Collins contract can gain you another asset.

I would include Yurt and Clarkson and keep 29 and 32. We free up more cap space and could sign Paul George. Use 10, 11 to move up. Use 29 and 32 to move to 17 or 22. And with our picks, remaining cap, Sexton we could do a deal for Jimmy Butler and we go warp speed into the playoffs with...

Yeah they read our discussion and just figured to skip the Jazz as a middle man.
