    Coronavirus

Shake it off big guy! Makes you think was one of those flu-like symptoms or the intense influenza spread most of my household had during 2019 Covid-19 or not when I'm not tested. There were major talks of a wide spread of some intense influenza in 2019 autumn and the symptoms were so strong that...

    Joe Biden - 46th President!

US dodged a big one, gratz. Even for undecided Trump voters who don't know what would hit'em.

    UFC: Khabib vs Gaethje

What a fight and what a dramatic ending. This fight made me respect both fighters even more. Great great stuff in so many ways. I just wish Gaethje was not so much as excited and was his usual pressuring attitude instead of staying on an alert mode for any takedown attempt coming his way. If...

    UFC: Khabib vs Gaethje

One of his biggest advantages was how easy it was for him to take the opponents down, whereas I always saw Gaethje defend take down attempts automatically against wrestlers. And Justin's kicks are deadly, has devastating pressure. Gonna be an interesting one. Like both fighters attitudes very much.

    Trump has the Rona !

even if it's for real or it is an election move to play the broken, beaten but victorious, if he recovers, it appears to be a perfect timing for his quarantine to end and shift a lot of undecided minds.

The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Better get used to the idea. Trump’s coming back. Never find comfort in discussing / making fun of / looking down to this guy or white trash people etc. Or else that will be the jerk circle that you will fool yourself and drown in eternal laziness for bigotry to prevail forever. Don’t tell what...

    Religious Worship and Covid

I've always felt that religion is best practiced at home in isolation. Congregations drag you away from your inner understanding of it with norms, which is in their nature.

Game Thread September 1, 2020: Jazz at Nuggets - Game 7

Arena effect, losing the advantage of home court vibe hits the teams that benefit from it the most. Same thing must have happened with the Jazz to grab back some momentum.

    The R.I.P. Thread

One of the bad boys jail birds Blazers’ frontmen. Was an example of a power forward, a clear pick. Made me realize I got older than before.

    Have you experienced COVID?

Not close but a weird story to hear: a colleague of mine had some lady relative who goes into the kitchen to see the corns boiling. Complains about the corns not having any smell and argues if these are genetically modified corns. Her sister comes in to check what she is talking about, only to...

    I'm Done with the NBA

Tough times burn us out. Good news is you don’t usually die and things go better at some point. Same with this imo. Loss, bad basketball, little enthusiasm with no crowd games that feel like scrimmages, I get why someone can be disappointed. I suggest keeping expectations at much lower levels...

POLL: How has COVID affected your job?

To me most people could have the biggest relaxation and step by learning to be comfortable saying ‘I don’t know’ when they don’t. Though the effort to reach there is what keeps this alive so far and you are so right on that.

POLL: How has COVID affected your job?

[thought diarrhea]Overall I think there will be a major permanent shift for white collar to at-home jobs. I don’t buy conspiracy theories if there is no solid proof. My wife thinks the pandemic is a global deconstruction of society towards a new normal. She might be right but for these types...
