I think we have a Favors/Gobert type problem when pairing Conley with Mitchell. They just don't mesh. Both need the ball in their hands to be the players they are. And both are weak defenders, especially when one or the other has to defend a much bigger SG.
Jazz would have been much better...
Never thought I'd say this, but I think I want Favors and Rubio back. This nee group sucks on defense. Thinking about not buying LP. Why waste $200 on a team that doesnt give a **** about defense. Not going to be surprised to see Utah near the bottom of the defensive ratings. Rudy is only DPOY...
Just for ***** and giggles, oneye, you should cross post your theories in the Knicks fan forum. After this past off-season they need something to fantasize about.
Can't get it figured out if Lindsey and Snyder are load managing already. You'd think the prospective starting 5 would get at least the equivalent of 1 qtr together. Then let them rest while trying to decide who the 12th-1th guys are going to be.
Won't be NWG. Jazz need 3 PG's. I consider Mitchell as the backup behind Conley. We'll see one or the other on the court at all times, except during garbage time.
Exum is injured right now and i think he's not even seen as a PG any more, more of a wing.
Nope. I remember it distinctly. It was NOT a viss he needed to stay in the U.S. It was a travel visa. Those are much easier to obtain. He misled the Jazz. I have NEVER heard of any other player taking off on a practice day to take care of vacation matters.
I dislike him because he's changed his dialogue many times on certain players, seemingly to support whichever direction the wind is blowing from Lindsey's perch.
He also has very creepy, staring at guys' crotches after interviews. Also remember Exum's 2nd or 3rd summer. Locke mentioned 3 or 4...
Really? Not Pistol Pete or AD? Those guys are FAR superior to DWill and AK. And defensively, Eaton put up some amazing numbers.
I might agree Griifith and Hornacek are suspect. Griffith played 10 years for the Jazz, though. DWill only 5 1/2, not to mention him deciding to ignore Sloan and run...
When AK got his contract, I believe Larry H said he wasn't a max player yet, but would be. AK was a special talent defensively. but you're right, Ron; he couldn't shoot. He MAY have fit better as a 4 in today's game. But he was too scrawny to play the 4 when there were true POWER forwards. And...
None. Deron had several great seasons. AK had a dominant stretch for 4 yrs or so. But neither were legends. Personally, i dont think Hornacek deserved to have his number retired, but he was at least borderline with his attitude and longevity putting him over the top.
Jazz won't have anyone...
Yes, we sure as hell do. Because Royce might be great trade capital. I like Royce, but since we don't have a 1st rd pick, Jazz may need other assets at the deadline if a good starting PF can be obtained.
Let the best man win between Howard and Kidd.
