He certainly made little, if any, discernable effort to avoid DM. Hard to say with these things on what the guy's intent was, but it does not look good.
The article said that Smith and Wade have been friends for awhile and that Smith has been working on this since he bought the team.
I like this guy more, and more, each day. Could not be happier with how the new ownership group is doing.

Honestly, If the Jazz are healthy and hit their stride, big caveats I know, I'm not afraid of anyone. There was a stretch of games early in the season when the Jazz were in tune, they had the ball whipping around the court to an open shooter, played stingy defense and were blowing teams out...
This is your Repubilcan party folks. Makes me wonder how anyone can be proud to be one. I love my repub friends and family, but Yeeeeesh folks, this is ugly.

Geez the Jazz play such pleasing-to-watch basketball.
Completely different than watching Harden-era Houston or Luka & the Mavs.
Ahhhhh, so nice when we can make fans of the vanquished.

Take your time, you've earned a break. Lol You must be worn out with this winning binge we've been on. We really do appreciate it, I know I do.

Well you can color me a moron if you want, but if you insist on doing that then color me Purple, Gold, and Green. As far as inexplicability goes, it's quite explainable...I'm juiced on Jazz Koolaid. Take TD out of the equation and how many titles have they won? zero.
So the Spurs without Tim...
