Agreed. Look at the primary bigs for Boston and Miami. Theis and Adebayo. All of 6'08 and 6'09. They are skilled, protect the paint and finish in the paint. Ideally Juwan can become a serviceable version of that.
Ditto! Him and Justin Holiday I think are attainable perimeter defenders with the length and shooting we need. Although each are bit wirey they just play with great anticipation.
My short list of FA targets:
If Shaq Harrison and Justin Holiday were about 20-30lbs heavier they would be perfect. Both are very heady defenders and would contribute in a playoff rotation. I don't think Poeltl wants anything less than a starting role. Bertans probably wants too much $$$. DJJ...
Another guy I like the more I watch is Killian Tillie of Gonzaga. He's a more athletic Davis Bertans. Has a littered injury history, but I would trade into the 2nd round to get him. He's not uber athletic but has terrific timing/anticipation. Like a lot of Gonzaga guys, his basketball IQ show's...
Ramsey
Tyler Bey
Woodard
All 3 I've also targeted in my analysis as well. I'd feel great about any of them. Tyler Bey is anywhere from the low teens to the 30's on various Mock Drafts/Big Boards. I really hope he falls to 23.
The Kahlil Whitney kid is intriguing as well.
