It would be easier to pick up a vet pg then try to thread the needle, again, with a later first round pick on a starting pg. Just get best player available. Good vets can be had pretty cheaply now a days with everyone capped out.

Man, that assist from Collier to Flip. . . Rookie doing work.

Yep, whoever is helping him with whatever he is doing needs to take on Cody as well.

I just hope we are not in a spot where I have to care about Traore vs. Fears. . .

Do the Jazz have an early second round pick they can give a promise to Saunders with?

Like Walker Kessler? Williams efforts out there and you hate him.

    2024-2025 Tank Race

I think that no matter what the Jazz had in mind before they blew things up, the offer that materialized for Gobert kind of forced their hand. Gobert is one of my favorite players ever, but building around him on the contract he was on was always going to be hard. Once someone showed up offering...

I just think of it as we are tanking for the choice between Edgecombe and Johnson. There is a pretty decent shot at getting there. Anything else is gravy. That is the only way you can stay sane. That being said, I don't like tanking and hope we don't do it next year. Worst case we give up the 9...

Half the fools on this board would have traded Kessler for peanuts even a few months ago. I think the problem DL ran into was trying to draft to fit Quinn's roster rigidity, especially those non- Rudy minutes. We forget how white knuckle things got when Rudy checked out.

The trade for Clarkson was pretty clutch.

Of course, the laws of probability are completely voided whenever the Jazz are involved in a lottery positioning coinflip. Probably best to avoid one of those. . .

If you flip a coin 10 times and the first 9 are heads the odds of the 10th flip being heads is still 50/50. The odds only matter before you start flipping the coin the first time. What we need is possible picks 6 and 7 to start showing out more. . .

I mean if our 3rd year center just got Potter's minutes, we probably win by double digits. We held Kyle out a lot longer than we would have if we were trying to win the game as well. The Jazz could just as easily blundered into a win anyways.

If you play a lot if first and 2nd year players not named Kessler, rhe defense is going to be awful, especially when the default gameplan includes Kessler. Flip was awesome, he is not yet a stopper. I'm fine with continuing to develop him as they are currently doing. We are developing Williams...
