guy gets the biggest free pass for being quins yes man. ive always been suspect of him. i think hes a good guy to bring off the bench but hes put in as a core piece, and hes just not good enough.
so frustrating
Watching Royce get easily screened and Westbrick blowing by him to dunk on Gobert sums it up.
He's not a starter, and we aren't good enough. Quin is rigid af. Get JC out of there when he is bricking! JESUS
Yes, with a shake up.
Got to adjust the starting line up, and/or add one defensive weapon. We aren't far off but the current line up will never win a title.
Finally ends the hilarious argument of Royce and his "Great" defense. lmao.
Anyone that focuses on him can see he is a turnstile more times than he is not. Take him OUT of the starting line up, and upgrade that position
and this team will take off.
He's his pet. The guy wouldn't start on any other contending team. We overpaid, for too many years, and given him the ultimate free pass.
If some of the other younger players were given the leash Royce gets they might thrive. We will never know.
I think thats the point. There is still time to correct this. That's the frustrating thing. How will our line up and rotation look come playoff time?
Are we going to address our issues now, or after another embarrassing first round exit.
Lol. He wouldn't start on any other contending team. He would come off the bench and be the truly good energy player he really is.
Great defender? He was awful in the Denver and Clippers series. He makes plays, has had some really good games, but overall not a "great" defender. Versatile...
exactly. Mike, Don, and Royce are so soft on defense. If Royce has to stay (jesus christ) then one other option is upgrading the 1. Conley hasn't proven he can even make it through a playoff run yet.
We need some toughness in the starting line up. So soft.
and overrated for years. He makes good plays, and has had some stand out games...
Overall, he still is a huge weakness on defense (and offensively you can make the argument as well. what he does is not elite or irreplaceable) against elite teams, and the teams that stand in
the way of us...
Same story I've been saying for years. This team has good talent, but it's not constructed well. It doesn't work together to make a title contending team.
The biggest issue is our starting line up. Jingled makes a good point. Getting a 7th or 8th man in the rotation aint going to cut it...
He won't get the most out of this roster. I really wanted him to be the guy but he is not.
I think a first round exit gets him fired, but we might just sneak into the second round.
been that way since sometime last year. the flaws were obvious even when we were the number one seed. lots of good ingredients but together they don't taste or look good.
If only he was used properly as an energy back up. Having him as a starter and playing along our tiny back court will always hurt us in the playoffs. Keep praising him, but he's not the answer at the 3.
