"Just added to ESPN's latest Dwight story: Sources say Warriors and Jazz have opened talks on trade that would send Andrew Bogut to Jazz"
"Jazz have expressed strongest interest to date in Bogut, sources say. No surprise after Al Jefferson's departure and Bogut's...
Nice reply, and I can't argue many of your points. I am just supremely frustrated with how conservative the Miller's are. I wouldn't want the Jazz to put themselves in a worse position, but it seems to me that the Jazz are content to fill seats than they are to work to win it all. I realize...
I know this will probably net me a lot of negative rep, but so be it. I have followed the Jazz since they first moved to Utah. I remember getting an Adrian Dantley autograph outside of the Salt Palace when I was in Jr. High (Yeah I know, I'm old). I attended the draft parties when Stockton...
That is awful. It would put the Jazz is a terrible position in the off season with two UFA bigs, Millsap and Jefferson. I like Bill Simmons writing at times, but that trade is downright ridiculous.
I guess context would help. This was right after the trade and people were really upset because Thurl was such a great guy and a pillar of the community. The argument from their perspective was their character was more important than their ability on the court. This was before they knew much...
In the immortal words of a former Jazz radio guy, Dave Blackwell, "Nice guys don't win NBA championships". He was referring to Thurl Bailey when he got traded to Minnesota way back when. I am inclined to agree with Dutch here, although with the caveat that they aren't locker room cancers like...
God I don't know if I'm too old, or just been a fan of this team for too long. My first autograph was from Adrian Dantley back when I was in Jr. High. I saw him outside the Salt Palace after the game. I had one of those crappy synthetic balls, and A.D. said, "Where did you get this ball...
We can only hope it's Jefferson. I love his post ability, but his lack of defensive presence on pick and roll and barely serviceable post defense kills us.
Decent article, but the author doesn't seem to know much about Hayward. He's a better defender than the author indicates and I'd say one of his biggest weaknesses right now is how he moves without the ball. He doesn't go off of screens as well as he could. Thanks for sharing though Ruca.
