I would say we keep trading guys for lesser players and picks or even cost savings and let nature take it's place. We are playing reverse psychology with the basketball gods and it's working.
I found a few quotes perusing the web to tide us over for now..

Lakers Fans Are Pissed After They Lost To The Jazz

I loved QS at first. You could tell he was patiently teaching a system and it did work. He just had a terrible flaw in refusing to adjust. Its like the system was so successful he was lulled to sleep and never had any other tricks, so once it was defeated he lived in denial for over a season...
I was once given advice to never wait once you knew an employee needed to be let go. I have found it more true over years of experience. I have been forced to let some of my best talent go multiple times and it always scared the hell out of me. The results in each of those were Similar to the...
What if QS was the heart of our problems? What would Hardy have accomplished with last year's talent? What if we really are legit and Ainge just flips the picks instead of further dismantling and uses them to bring talent right back.

Bogey was one of my all time favorites. Always had faith in that guy. Does anybody else feel like its going to be hard to emotionally invest in a new Jazz team?

So quick to forget he built the #1defense 5 years ago. #2 4 yrs ago. Then we decided to trade it all for the best 3 pt and best ortg just last year. We have won all the metrics and none of the trophies via maxing out the stats. I believed in the blender. Now we know what happened to it..
I'm ok...
Baby faced Gordo was the spitting image if an RM. He was also the safe pick. George was more of a gamble, so not character, but a typical Jazz play it safe move.
Edit: it was such a reach we booed the pick. Turned out good for a minute I guess.

I have never felt loyalty as a fan to a player the way a do for Rudy. I know this iteration of the jazz was done, but it doesn't make it easier.
