Not necessarily. Humans are emotional creatures. Culture and general good vibes (in most cases) are significant forces. I say this as a person who is forever bashing my head on the proverbial brick wall by trying to be efficient with humans.
I was thinking of looking up the correlation of the hiring and the slide. I don't think it's for the specific reason the OP mentioned, but it's not unreasonable to explore the thought. There was a point where at times we began to care less about defense, rebounding and who knows what else. A...
Except there are times that Conley is the only guy able to put his head on straight and run/create offense. We are a juggernaught except sometimes when we get in our own heads it seems.
This is where I am at. Its just hard to make a judgment when there is clearly a lack of effort. I gotta believe there is more available from what we already have on D. I would love to know what the coaches have done to explore getting more out of these guys. Bogey for instance played reasonable...
I think the players should memorize this post. Unless the coaching is really telling them to iso all day in which case I would say coaches are a lost cause.
I'm with Steve. This is what is going to take to get something to change. It's human nature to convince yourself you can find a shortcut. Either these guys will wake up from fantasy half *** world or the team will get changed.
I've seen this meltdown coming and welcome the expedition this game...
It appears everybody is going to get Omicron. Silver lining its getting over with at this point in the season rather than during playoffs. Hopefully everybody recovers.

I think Bogey is capable of a lot of offense. I think it's a feather in his cap that he can defer for many games to mitchell and Conley, then flip a switch at times and dominate. Easy night to jump on his wagon, but I'm a fan.
They always do this when I watch down the stretch. I'll try to be more busy again so we can go on another win streak.

Don't fix what's not broke.
As for my opinion, I haven't been able to watch the past few games to see body language and hustle to have a clue as to if I dare get my expectations up. The results look much more promising..
Think AC said they were 27/51 their last game. I was pretty impressed they look like a really well coached and talented team. How in the world have they not gone further in the playoffs?
This is exactly my question. Defies all logic.

I was disappointed as well. One where we turned it on late and it worked. I felt like the Celtics were up the last 3 quarters even though we stayed a couple points ahead most of the time.

I believe the Jazz are punching below their weight. I think it is up to them, including coaches to achieve a level of desire that moves them back into the competitior conversation. I don't mind them losing, it's the way they are losing. I'm looking for wins like the vintage Spurs groups that...
