    Jazz Select Olivier Hanlan

Hanlan's shot release reminds me of Curry's. Not saying they are the same player. Just is a great benefit to have a quick release when your a good shooter and scorer. I really hope they trade Trey so we just have Hanlan and Cotton. Hurts me to say that as a Michigan fan and someone who has been...

Trevor Booker would make Lyles his

Favors - Booker - Lyles Gobert - Favors Favors is the back up center. Which opens up more minutes at the 4 positions. Depending on how Lyles does this year will determine if Booker is here next year. There is no log jam when Booker only has 1 year on his contract and Lyles is 19. It's...

    You fools.

Ha ha - I like it. Also Favors is our back up center to Gobert.

Lyles is the pick at 12

Stephen Curry's was the exact same player the year before. His stats were identical. They had almost the exact same players the year before. I give Steve Kerr the most credit. Without Kerr no way they make it to the finals. He changed the way that team played. Way more ball movement when he...

Lyles is the pick at 12

Odom never was a Center. Odom has always been a swing player in a PF's body. His handle was amazing for someone his size. His shot sucked for years. The comparison doesn't make sense. If Channing Frye and Boris Diaw had a baby it would be Trey Lyles.

Channing Frye shot 17% from 3 his senior year

Channing Frye shot 17% from 3 his senior year

Channing frye shot 3 out 17 his senior year. %17 Lyles is much younger coming in. He is actually more agile then Frye was coming out. Better laterally. And he can pass. They are both similar in height and weight. Both of their shots are quick and smooth.

Lyles is the pick at 12

When he shoots he reminds me of Channing Frye. His Agility is much better though. Someone said Odom. I don't think he is that agile. And his handed isn't as good. His passing reminds me of Diaw though.

Lyles is the pick at 12

One of the biggest needs on defense right now is guarding the pick and roll. Lyles has that agility to defend the pick and roll. Having 3 long bigs who can guard faster players while staying long is the key to a great defense. Lyles offensive game will take time. His release is quick and...

Rudy at P3: 12'3.5'' max vertical reach

Athletically going up and down are the tests that everyone focuses on. Which is really dumb. You spend more time using your agility and side to side movements then up and down. Proper positioning can fix any lack of up and down movement. What makes Gobert incredible is his ability to move his...

    Gobert,Favors,Exum can be Gasol,Zbo,Conley

The key with Z-Bo and Gasol is that they both can hit the mid range shot. So they both spread the court for each other. Favors and Gobert are better on defense as Z-Bo isn't a good defender, Gasol just makes him look decent. Offensively we have a long way to go. Favors I think can be...

    Spencer Hawes

I love this idea. Perfect fit.

    Rondo anyone?

No wing player or PG's that can't shoot. We have our version of the twin towers. We need spacing. I don't like ball dominate point guards that think they are the only playmaker. Even Stocktom would go set picks and be on the roll.

Utah held opponents to fewer than 90 points 27 times this season, the most in the NBA.

I think one of the best defensive ratings is opponent field goal percentages. Pace plays a huge part in points per game. Field goal percentage is a better metric. Never the whole story but it's a large chunk. Opponents Offensive rebounds is huge too...

    Take Withey?

If we are keeping Booker as our backup 4 then our Backup center has to be able to hit the mid range shot consistently. We can't have 4 bigs that can't shoot. Favors is decent but not a threat yet.

The Jazz, David Lee, and Golden State

Lee only has 1 more year left. Lee is still a decent player. I think his scoring could help the bench also. We get Lee, Barnes and their 30th pick. We give them the 12th pick and Trey Burke and contract fillers and maybe some 2nd round picks.

    Neto for Point Guard!

I am all for trading Trey and bringing Neto over. I am a Michigan fan and Trey has been horrible. I thought he would be a better playmaker then this and a better shooter and a better decision maker. He has not improved at all in his 2 years. Very bad sign. Time to trade him as a salary...

Do you think Trey wants to be traded?

Trade him to the Celtics so he can be with his butt buddy Sullinger. He can back up Marcus Smart.

    Ingles, Johnson, or Millsap?

We can easily keep 2 of them next year. I am just curious who everyone likes now and long term.
