The Favors seesaw thing is created by the fans. The organization has done nothing to think they aren't behind him. They don't care about the fan base with regards to this particular feeling, and they shouldn't. The locker room is fine as of the last we heard.
Why should they? If they get an offer that benefit's them they'll take it. They don't and shouldn't give a crap what a bunch of arm chair GM's think. Remember this you are 100% irrelevant to their decisions.
I'm one of Favors' biggest supporters on this site. I'd let him go if it nets us Harris, but not for most of the other option out there, including Portis.
Simple answer is you can spend as much as you'd like to retain your own players. And the GSW got Durrant during a weird time in the salary cap in the NBA.
Why not? He's very valuable defensively and offensively he's great on the boards. With Ingles, Conley and Mitchell closing they absolutely could have Favors close. He can play more at 4 now that the PG can shoot.
