Rock solid? What kind of rock are you talking about? He has not been a rock or solid for two years. The little I saw of him last night makes it look like he is seriously diminished from his prime, no more lift or explosion. I suspect he has just prematurely aged or the injuries have done...
Agreed completely. While it is only pre-season and the Lakers, I cannot remember a rookie Jazzman look anything like this. Kid's got "it", talented, fearless, clutch.
Gordon who? Rodney who? Alec who? We got our star and it’s DM! Incredible. That was the kind of performance you HOPE to see in year 5 maybe.

While I truly hope I am wrong, I suspect his body has prematurely aged on him. Gets injured too easily and takes forever to recover. Started the previous season when back spasms kept him out of about 800 games, way more than normal. What a bonus it would be if he really bounces back to be what...
Good thinking. That is exactly what mature, highly paid intelligent executives do all the time, engage in petty little personal schemes.
Chill out. He did it because he thought it was a good deal for his franchise.
Nice. That's the lovely mature attitude I find so bothersome. Why is that when fans put their fan-cap on they are allowed to become mean, nasty boors. Angry with him for leaving? Fine. Wishing pestilence on him and everyone around him is going too far, way to far. Insisting that you KNOW he...
Just said I don't defend all he did. He is just getting way too grief for simply choosing a different team. I understand he could have handled it better but it is also not an easy situation.

When did he lie and how do you know? All you guys who "know" that Hayward made his mind up a year ago, how do you come by this knowledge? Did you find a secret diary? Did you hear it at Bestbuy? The people involved hay and his agent said he was leaning to utah as of Monday night.

Hayward was employed by a business entity that made a nice profit from him. He was not employed by you unless you are one of the millers.

They can certainly be upset. They should not hope he dies, breaks a leg, fails, gets cancer or whatever else illness they want him to suffer. They would all leave their current employer in a heartbeat for a better situation. Their are being selfish and childish.

Good gravy, you sent checks to Gordon Hayward? No you bought tickets from a business that employed him for great profit for a few years.

That is your perception of a better situation not his. Do you have the right to dictate to him? Do you want others to dictate to you?

The lying being done here is by those who say they would turn down a better situation. None of you would. And you cannot dictate that criteria to anyone. Quit taking it so personally.

Yes you would if you decided the other situation suited you better. He had the freedom to make a personal decision on any criteria he wanted to. Heck maybe his wife just likes Boston better. Does not matter.
