Jimmer has been told to take it easy on defense. Do you need a PhD to figure that out? The entire offense runs through him. He absolutely cannot get into foul trouble.
Obviously he will never be a defensive stopper, but he will put more effort in at the next level.
Good grief. First the Knicks play their best basketball down the stretch last season, and now the Nets are on a winning streak without D-Will.
Are the Jazz cursed?
Jimmer lover here. I have to agree he really isn't what the Jazz need right now and taking him in the top 12 would make me nervous. The Jazz need a wing perimeter shooter (in the worst way) and Jimmer is a PG.
Sure he would be fine backing up Harris but again we are talking a lottery pick here.
The Sports Guy's take on the deal:
"Meanwhile, Utah revived a trade strategy that hasn't been seen in years: the old "if we're gonna do this, let's do it right away for the best possible haul instead of dangling him around, then inadvertently killing his trade value once word gets out"...
Nope. You keep assuming D-Will was going to resign. Jazz insiders indicate he wouldn't. The closer you wait til his contract is up, the less leverage you have. D-Will was leaving the Jazz. I suppose four potential lottery picks isn't good enough for you? Should the Jazz have traded D-Will for...
I don't post much anymore, but you are a ****ing moron. You complain that the Jazz don't do anything, then complain when the Jazz do. Everyone else in the thread is trying to evaluate the trade logically, and you are bitching non-stop.
Why don't you do us all a favor and go root for another...
